Yet Another Sign Of The Times....

Between now and Labor Day we'll see a LOT of this in east Carmel.  Bittersweet,
local gatherings signifying the end of the Summer season will be all around us in the coming weeks.  For some reason every time I think about one of these types of assocation parties I have the pool scene from Caddyshack run through my stream of consciousness.  If you're headed for this picnic, leave your ties at home, Ty.  Wonder if they'd feel charitable enough to have me as an honorary guest?  Probably not.

Still Cleaning Up....

While the flood waters have primarily receeded, a number of homes still have branch issues to be dealt with like this home on Lakeshore Drive East.  This debris stretched nearly 40 feet across the front of the house and probably will probably require some professional help to make it go away.  No matter how busy your keep your fire pit this would be a LOT of burning.  Let's hope calmer times are ahead this coming weekend in east Carmel!  

No Love Today

Hard to believe as busy as this court will be in a few days that today it sits quiet.   It appears this Woodlands 
court may be expecting lunch guests, however.  For those aspiring Nadals and Federers, surely the unofficial start of summer will bring out the crowds this weekend.....as long as mother nature cooperates!

One if by land......

At first glance it might appear this Woodlands neighbor may be trying to find a way to beat the high gas prices but the gentle winds in Carmel are far too mild for that.  In reality this homeowner in the 11100 block of Lakeshore East Drive is actually offering this craft up for adoption at a very reasonable price.  This week there have certainly been several perfect afternoons to be on the lake....
