Not sure where they have come from but a homeowner near Prairie View sent us this pic last night. It's not a Tiger sighting but I guess we'll take it. He's identified this as a Massasauga. They are highly venomous, rare and oh by the way endangered which means you cannot kill them. This homeowner says they have had three total. Two smaller in the 12 inch range and then this adult which was around three feet. It's a good reason to keep an eye on small children, pets and where you walk in east Carmel.
