"Lights on Means Lights Out for Crime" when everyone should turn on your outside lights. This is a way a showing support for your firefighters and policemen. Woodlland Springs and other east Carmel neighbhrooods are participating and we would encourage others to do so as well. While fortunately we haven't had serious bodily injury crimes in east Carmel, there have been instances of theft and personal property being violated. The Lights Out celebration is a way of reminding us all to help CPD and CFD when we see things that are detrimental to our community. Some streets are having pitch ins with police and fire members making appearances. If you have the chance this evening, show your support by turning your lights on as well!
