Sunday was almost a dream day. Abundant sunshine, warm summer like breezes and 10 to 12 year olds exhausting each other on the River Road field of play. The Spring version of Camel Dad's Club lacrosse and soccer were in full battle mode. Lots of overworked parents used the day to lounge in club chairs behind sunglasses and feign interest when most were simply enjoying the day. The good news, win or lose was that the pre teens were spent afterwards and the parents got more calm time to enjoy that book or attacking stray dandelions in the front yard.
