HAIL YES. Get your home checked for hail damage.....

Were you out in it last night?  Many of us were trying to drive home when the assault began just before 5. While your car is one thing, from the housing expert's side of this I would STRONGLY urge you to get your roof checked for hail damage as soon as possible.  Some of us who think we should know what it looks like have learned that lesson the hard way over the past few years.  Seeing hail damage is not always for the layman and certainly is not always as obvious as this picture.  You need professional help.  Call your insurance company first and tell them there's a chance you could have damage.  They will likely tell you to call licensed roofer to examine it first.  Either way, let your insurer know FIRST to keep the process on the right track.  If you need a trusted roofing resource I'd be happy to pass one along.  Don't let this go! Too many times I've put houses on the market who had hail damage months or years before and never had it looked at leaving the seller to pick up the tab.
