U.S. 31 Update

For those of us east siders who are constantly traversing the 31 corridor there was good news this week.  The state announced that in addition to overhead roundabouts at 131st and 136th there will be Keystone like dog bones at 106th and 116th.  These improvements will make every one's life better and certainly attach east and west Carmel in such a better way.  The west siders may actually come visit from time to time when this is all done (yeah, right).  ON A RELATED NOTE....crews expect to shift traffic on Range Line Road to the new pavement onto the northbound side of the roadway under the new US 31 overpass bridges TONIGHT. Crews will begin the reconstruction of the southbound side of the road during this time. The lane configuration will remain the same (one lane in each direction).
