So I drove 116th and 96th Streets through various interchanges with Keystone Parkway today and was left with one question. Where did everyone go? Yes there were times that things were heavy during the peak of this morning's drive time but it didn't seem proportionally worse with the Allisonville overpass closure. It could be that, like the River Road and Westfield overpass closings, things won't get ugly for a few days after the closures and people began to travel back into the general construction zone. Maybe this closure won't be that bad at all. Yeah, right....and I'm east Carmel's version of Brad Pitt. At least for a day, thing seem to run fairly smoothly. Seemed heavier around the Parkway but not as bad as I thought. 7;45 AM travel time.
