Could you do us a favor and spread this one around please? This past weekend as I stopped at a couple of garage sales along the Gray Road corridor I heard more than one homeowner saying they'd had issues with people trying to take things without paying (or worse). In one very uncomfortable moment, an east Carmel homeowner walked into her house from her garage where her sale was taking place to find two men rifling through her Master Bath medicine cabinets. She screamed and they took off but not before they frightened a number of people who were on the premises. Channel 13 had a
story on this over the weekend complete with some safety tips for anyone conducting this type of sale. We've always thought we were immune to this type of thing....which is exactly what the bad guys are hoping for.
