Staying Connected...And Doing Good!

It's hard not to be impressed with how much Woodland Springs does as a neighborhood to help it's residents stay in touch and get to know each other.  From local holiday events to wine and cheese socials to things like 'New To You' which will take place at the end of April, they are constantly finding ways to create and maintain a sense of community.  The NTY event allows its residents to bring clothes or household items to the clubhouse and essentially do a free swap generally for the amount you brought in.  While this is just for Woodland Springs residents only, all of the leftover items are donated to Wheeler Mission in downtown Indy.  A neighborhood that makes this level of effort to keep it's residents connected is one that creates a true sense of value and community within our city. It's a terrific way for a neighborhood to get to know each other and help out those less fortunate at the same time....both very positive things!
