Rarely do I want to put my hands in dark, earthly substances that are stinky and steamy. This weekend I'll be doing just that as will individuals and neighborhoods are all over east Carmel. Last weekend the Trails At Avian Glen was a Carmel husband's dream come true with about 30 yards of mulch and a mini bobcat for spreading. I graciously offered to play in.....ehhhh....move some of these piles via their front end loader but for some reason was denied. Already this week we've seen numerous trucks depositing piles of the black ground cover in other neighborhood common areas that will surely lead to sore backs and the need for comforting adult beverages come Saturday evening.
