Woodland Springs gets it. For the record this post is NOT about a small group of people bent on creating value in their homes by the activities it promotes. It's simply an observation about a group of people trying to enjoy their neighbors by providing activities that allow everyone to interact through common interests. There are a number of east Carmel neighborhoods that do a great job of this. We're just holding up Woodland Springs as one good example (the east side of Bayhill had some great 'Pink Flamingo' parties once upon a time). In today's new world of real estate the question often comes up as to how neighborhoods create and maintain the value of their homes. It's pretty simple actually. Creating a quality of life that allows people to grow friendships in their immediate neighborhoods is a great start. In other words creating a place where people want to live. Woodland Springs understands this...from it's summer swim meets to it's pancake breakfast with Santa this Saturday morning (residents only please), this is one group of neighbors that always seems to be making an effort to enhance the quality of lives of those who they live near in east Carmel. It will pay off for them in the long haul in so many ways and it's one thing that home values in east Carmel will thrive on in the future.
