East Carmel Virtual Open House - Housing Blog for 7/26 to 8/2

A quick piece of info as we get into the housing data for the past week.  We're humbled at the number of visitors we're getting at EOK.com. Above is the visual tour page views for our listing on Bobwhite in the Trails At Avain Glen and where they originated.  This is exactly why we started this site.  To be an exclusive outlet for information on all things East Of Keystone including the best place to get the scoop on homes for sale in east Carmel. Now...on to the virtual open house for this week.  Just click and you're there!  New homes came on the market this week in Bayhill, Smokey Ridge, Delaware Trace, Woodfield, The Lakes At Hazel Dell,  Williamson Run, Kingswood,  116th Street,  Plum Creek Farms,  Emerald Crest,  Cool Creek North,  Haverstick,  Emerald Crest #2,   The Townhomes on Hazell Dell  & 122nd Street.

Five homes went under contract this week in Bayhill, Chapman's Claim at Prairie View, The Lakes At Hazel Dell, Delaware Commons, Plum Creek Farms and Plum Creek North. 

Year to date 303 homes have gone under contract in east Carmel compared to 313 homes on August 2nd of 2010.  The truly encouraging news is that average closed sales prices for 2011 to date in 46033 are $329,896 compared to $311,095 one year ago!  No matter what the national media says from week to week, housing is alive and well in east Carmel.
