About the only place you can get relief from the heat aside from your air conditioner these dog days would be near the water. The glassy, first shot is from one of our east Carmel friends in Bayhill on Lake Waterstone Sunday morning. The lower image came from a canoe on Lake Woodland Springs. Thanks to residents Mark and Diane who were out on an early paddle before the heat set in They were so close you could almost feel the water....and on a day like today we could all use it.
