While the Conner Prairie Balloon always provides a great view of east Carmel, this may not be the day to be airborne with the possible severe storms forecast. Still, it's a picturesque scene above the Dad's Club fields at 126th and River Road. As long as the bad weather gets cleared out for the holiday weekend we can put up with a bit of turbulence today....providing we can do that with our feet planted firmly on the ground.
