That's Going To Leave A Mark

Today we answered a very important question in east Carmel. What happens when three ten year-olds go down a steep hill at Northview on an inner tube and hit that very large tree at the bottom left in the picture?  They bounce...but fortunately we didn't have to put anyone on injured reserve as a result. This may have been one of the better days in years for sledding at Northview. Moms, Dads, Kids, Cocker Spaniels and one VERY brave grandmother all took to the hills. All total there must have been 200 people out there at one time. The only draw backs were the trees, a lack of turning ability and kids that walked right back up the hill in the middle of the sledding path. Occasionally they'd get picked off like the red character in Angry Birds. At times there were 'Funniest TV moments' happening everywhere. We could use a few more days like this over the holidays. One where we all got together and didn't have to worry about the more recent news of the day. No fiscal cliffs, no deranged gunmen, no anything but just fun with our families.
