East Carmel Housing Report: The Lakes At Hazel Dell

The Lakes At Hazel Dell is another east Carmel neighorhood that had values affected during the downturn of the last few years but never really slowed in terms of numbers of homes sold.  In 2009 The Lakes closed 11 homes, in 2010 13 homes, in 2011 12 homes and this year a big corner has been turned.  The 2012 annualized number of homes sold should run in the mid teens with 8 closed sales to date.  That type of moved inventory will ultimately reflect a higher demand and average sales price for the neighborhood, both positive signs as a continuing recovery in east Carmel.  We'll be posting those actual sales price averages as we finish the calendar year in 2012.
