46033 Homeowners - Yes You Must!

If you have not done this, get on it!  Sometime early this year you should have received a form in the regular mail that would require some very basic information from you in order that your homestead mortgage deduction in place.  That deduction saves you money on your property taxes every year and YES it is worth it.  There is excessive fraud in the property tax system and the state is simply trying to weed some of that out.  This needs to be done by year's end but better to get it done ahead of time in case there are any issues getting it finalized.
